KODA Presets
PLEASE NOTE: Set requires Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 7.5 (and newer), as presets are now in .XMP format - please research beforehand if your software is compatible and how to install .xmp files into your Lightroom. This set will also include .LRtemplate for Lightroom CC and a PDF with links to the .dng files for mobile Lightroom app.
KODA presets are an easy way to bring your photos to the next level! This is my go-to set of presets I exclusively use for editing my Instagram feed (@house.of.koda) and landscape/product photography.
Included in this pack are the following SIX (6) presets and TWO (2) brush adjustments:
Presets:
- Koda 1: One of my most used presets ever! A moodier vibe, with soft greens and rich tones.
- Koda 2: A more subtle filter, for when you already love the colors straight out of the camera. Adds an extra level of vibrancy and brightness to an already great photo.
- Koda 3: Dramatic contrast and highlights, with muted undertones. This is the filter to use when you really want your subject to pop!
- Koda 4: Soft cooler tones, this was created with PNW vibes in mind and perfectly accentuates the blue/green backdrops of the Northwest
- Koda 5: This edit features a more earthy feel, with desaturated greens, muted tones and added warmth.
- Koda 6: My personal favorite for any fall photos! Vibrant golden tones really highlight any changing leaves and autumn colors.
Adjustment Tools:
- Koda (Target): Best used with the Brush tool to make your subject stand out even more / pop out from the background with added exposure and clarity/sharpness.
- Koda (Vignette): Best used with the Radial filter (inverted) to dark and blur the background around your subject.
Though these presets may not always be a ONE-CLICK edit for every single one of your photos, they make a perfect starting foundation! They do not include white balance adjustment, as that typically varies so much from photo to photo based on camera settings, lighting, shadows, etc. so that is normally the first place I go to adjust if I'm not 100% satisfied with the white tones in the edit. If you tend to under or over expose your photos, that is also another area that I will almost always adjust (bring down exposure for a darker, moodier edit and up for a lighter, airier feel)!
